Welcome!
In the complex fluids & modeling group, we focus on deepening our understanding of complicated flows and developing models that make predicting these flows accessible.
We are particularly interested in problems of societal importance, such as how particulates flow and settle in volcanic eruptions and how feedstocks can be more efficiently converted into usable fuels. In addition, we are interested in making accurate, scalable models of complex flows accessible to all users, ranging from fellow academics to industry practitioners. Many of these projects are fundamental with a wider range of applications.
In this group, we believe that everyone can be successful in science and in research.
